About this recording
In Short History of Christian Missions from Abraham and Paul to Carey, Livingstone, and Duff , George Smith recounts the history of missions beginning with God's heart for the nations as seen in His interactions with Abraham. He overviews New Testament missions then moves on to early missions throughout Europe. Finally, he tells of modern missions starting with the Moravians and William Carey. While some parts of the book are slightly British-centric, Smith's history provides an interesting overview of God's work to reach the nations through His people up until 1884. - Summary by AletheiaCharis
